Eskleigh Estate operates from 8:00am to 4:30pm Mon-Fri. Meeting requests outside of our usual office hours will be considered on a case by case basis and may incur an additional surcharge.
Eskleigh Estate provides a wide range of flexible room set ups to suit every function. Each configuration is flexible in its arrangement and in its seating capacity. All configurations come with space for a presenters table or whiteboard. Please note the maximum capacity for each room is based on a theatre style layout.
The U-Shape is designed to encourage interaction amongst delegates. This layout is often used as a space for discussions or committee meetings.
Boardroom Style is an excellent work space which promotes interaction between participants. This layout is most frequently used for board of directors meetings.
Classroom Style is designed for note taking, meetings that need handouts or those that require personal equipment such as laptops.
Cocktail Style is a wide-open space with a large table in the centre of the room. This allows for large groups to enjoy drinks and platters of food.
Theatre style is an efficient setup for large groups or lectures. This is the most flexible of our set-ups and can hold the highest number of delegates.
Terms and Conditions
Please read the following terms and conditions before confirming your booking
The Organisation (or individual if the booking is not on behalf of an organisation) in whose name the booking is made, unless otherwise stated, will be considered the Hirer and by confirming the booking with Eskleigh Estate agrees to the terms and conditions described here.
Confirmation of Guest Number
A guaranteed number of guests attending the function is required at least two (2) working days prior to the function at which time the final bill amount must be paid in full by credit card, cheque or direct deposit unless other terms are agreed to.
Menu selections are required seven (7) working days prior to your function.
Final payment of your bill total is required at least 2 working days prior to your event unless other terms are agreed to. Eskleigh Estate also reserves the right to automatically deduct any additional and unpaid charges incurred during a function from your credit card without notification. A late fee may apply in the event of late payment.
All prices include Goods and Services Tax (GST). Pricing is subject to change without notification. Eskleigh Estate operates from 08.00 – 16.30 Mon-Fri. Meeting requests outside of our usual office hours will be considered on a case by case basis and may incur an additional surcharge.
Full day hire is for an 8.5 hour period between 08.00 – 16.30 Mon-Fri.
In the event that the Hirer cancels a confirmed booking, the following charges will be applied: Less than 14 days notice 25% of room hire, Less than 7 days notice 50% of room hire, Less than 48 hours notice 100% of room hire and catering charges. Notification of cancellations should be made in writing and will be effective on the date received by Eskleigh Estate. Eskleigh Estate reserves the right to cancel the booking if the holding of the function is deemed a conflict of interest or potentially harmful to the business or its staff. Should it be deemed by Eskleigh Estate that a client has withheld and/or not disclosed full details of the event and its contents for any reason then Eskleigh Estate reserves the right to cancel the booking without penalty or liability.
Eskleigh Estate reserves the right to modify any original specifications or relocate a booking to a comparable room in the event of reduced numbers. The room(s)/space(s) booked shall be used for the purposes specified in the booking. Eskleigh Estate is not to be used for any illegal purpose or in such a manner as to bring Eskleigh Estate or the premises into disrepute and in particular not to commit a criminal offence in or in the vicinity of Eskleigh Estate.
Please enquire about seating, standing and cocktail function capacity. Eskleigh Estate has several different rooms with facilities to cater for most small to medium-sized conference events. Please feel free to request a tour with us so that we can show you our flexible configuration facility and how we tailor this for a wide range of different delegate numbers.
All persons attending a function at Eskleigh Estate are required to comply with the Rules and Regulations of Eskleigh Estate and with all instructions from Eskleigh Estate staff. Those failing to comply may be required to leave the premises. The person/group/organisation making this booking is responsible for the behaviour of all persons attending and is liable for any loss or damage. The client must reimburse Eskleigh Estate the cost of repairs of any damage to the property, contents or grounds of Eskleigh Estate caused by any of the meeting/function delegates. This may include the cost of specialist cleaning.
The client releases and indemnifies Eskleigh Estate and its management, its contractors and agents from and against any liability or damage, including any negligent act or omission of any act arising for an event. Our acceptance of a booking is made solely with you and the booking may not be transferred to an agent or third party without our written agreement. Eskleigh Estate will take all necessary care, but does not accept responsibility for the damage or loss of goods (including any film, video or audio-visual material or vehicles) that are on the premises prior to, during or after a function. Please arrive at and depart from Eskleigh Estate quietly at all times as it is also a residential home.
Special Dietary Requirements
Eskleigh Estate is able to cater for most guest-specific dietary requirements – food allergies, intolerances, religious or lifestyle choices. We request that you inform Eskleigh Estate of such requirements at least 7 days in advance so that we can ensure these requirements are met. While every effort will be made, we are unable to guarantee completely allergy-free meals due to the potential traces of ingredients in the working environment.
Eskleigh Estate is a smoke free environment. Smoking is prohibited in Eskleigh House and in the external areas of Eskleigh Estate, including all driveways, carparks and gardens. Delegates may smoke outside of Eskleigh Estate, we would recommend the car park area outside of the white gateway.
All exhibitions, stages or equipment set up by outside contractors must be approved in writing by Eskleigh Estate Management. Contractors must report to Reception and will be issued with security passes. All outside contractors must liaise with Eskleigh Estate in all matters of delivery, set up and departure/clean up.
All entertainers are required to view the space reserved for their performance at least one hour prior to the event and perform sound and equipment checks as required. Eskleigh Estate reserves the right to terminate any entertainment that is regarded as inappropriate or not of the nature advised prior to the event.
Only food prepared by Eskleigh Estate is to be served. This relates to all functions and includes outside contractors. Food must not be taken from Eskleigh Estate premises under any circumstances.
Delivery and Collection of Goods
The delivery of goods for all functions must be advised to Eskleigh Estate prior to delivery. Eskleigh Estate will make all efforts to take delivery of goods at a mutually suitable time, however Eskleigh Estate takes no responsibility for any items delivered for any events. Please ensure that all goods to be received by Eskleigh Estate are labelled clearly with the contact name, the name and date of the event/function/meeting and (as applicable) the group/organisation name.
Displays and Signage
No items are to be attached to walls or any other surface at Eskleigh Estate, without written permission from Management. Placement of stand alone signs is to be decided in consultation with management with focus on safety (particularly with regards to trip hazard and safe entry/exit). The correct pens are to be used on the Eskleigh Estate whiteboards. Eskleigh Estate reserves the right to remove any displays, signage, advertising flyers, brochures and any other material brought in by the meeting/function organiser.
Fire escape signage and fire fighting apparatus must not be tampered with or covered in any way. Access to emergency exits must be kept clear at all times. Blocking of doorways or exits with equipment, signage, furniture or personal belongings (e.g., delegate bags) is prohibited. In the event of an emergency, an alarm bell will sound continuously and delegates are to evacuate Eskleigh Estate via the emergency exits. An announcement of the need to evacuate using the emergency exits will also be made. The fire assembly areas are highlighted by signage in each room/space of Eskleigh Estate, as are the procedures for evacuation. The meeting/function organiser is responsible for familiarising and informing all delegates with the emergency exits and procedures.
