Eskleigh Estate House is built in the style of an Italian villa and sits impressively against the surrounding gardens and countryside.
Guests enter via the front entrance featuring beautiful stained glass panels depicting Australian flora and fauna, with these designs also used as motifs on the painted ceiling. The door is flanked by four imposing granite pillars believed to have been imported from Italy.
The house is surrounded by verandahs featuring beautiful cast-iron lace and boasts an original floor of Italian terrazzo.
Guests can hire rooms on both the ground floor and first floor which all have access to the grand hallway and some with direct access to the surrounding gardens.
All rooms have been restored and decorated sympathetically to the era of the house and make the most of the houses ornate period features including grand marble fireplaces.
The house has several painted ceilings, with all work being done by a Mr Hargraves of London. The finest of the artwork resides in The Garden Room. Here, the paintings depict the four seasons and the room boasts a very intricate cornice.
A stunning staircase, with a balustrade decorated with bosses and Tudor roses, leads up to a spacious landing where a beautiful original light fitting features in the centre of the painted ceiling.

The property comprises of 23 acres of grounds maintained as European-style gardens featuring three acres of beautiful flower gardens and many significant trees.
The front garden is available to visitors and is perfect for hosting and entertaining guests particularly in the Spring and Summer months.
The front garden can be booked as part of your package for just a few hours or can form a central part of your booking and marquees and or dining facilities can be erected on request (at additional cost).
